MCQ'S On Types Of Joint
Human skeleton is composed either of bones, cartilage and joints.
Joints :- The sites where two or more bones meet are called joints or articulations. Joints have two fundamental functions, that are; they give mobility to the skeleton and hold the skeletal parts together. Our body has movable and immovable joints present between bones. Three types of joints are present in skeletal system, i.e, Fibrous joints that are present in the cranium and are immovable. Cartilaginous joints allow limited movement, and are between two vertebrae. Synovial joints are movable joints, and are present in our appendicular skeleton, which help us in locomotion and movement.
